Promoting conservation together

Thanks to the grant from Conservation Allies, we have been able to continue intensified patrolling for several years in our forests to protect them from illegal logging, collection of firewood, wildfire, lemur hunting and other forms of human impact. As a partner, Association Mitsinjo can also receive unrestricted funds for conservation purposes through the Conservation Allies donation platform.

Would you like to support us in creating a new habitat for local wildlife in Mitsinjo Park?

Owing to successful conservation activities, living conditions in the forest have improved and indri populations have increased. They need more space as well as diademed sifakas, which have returned to Analamazaotra Forest Station.

Native tree species in one of Mitsinjo’s tree nurseries

We are planning to restore a site of 70 hectares, where eucalyptus prevails at the moment. We will cut down the eucalyptus trees and restore the area by planting seedlings of native tree species. The restoration will benefit not only lemurs, but also other animals and plants.

If you donate today, Conservation Allies will match your donation. All donations up to $7500 made before the end of December will be doubled.

Donate now, increase your impact

Thank you!

Donations will be used for the restoration project or other conservation activities.
